Completed work:

1. A technical design for a complex installation as part of an experimental reactor for low-temperature pyrolysis of biomass and an experimental sample of a combustion device for burning biomass has been developed; units of an experimental reactor sample for low-temperature pyrolysis of biomass and nodes of a combustion device for burning biofuel in a pulsating fluidized bed have been fabricated.

2. Assembly and installation of experimental reactor samples for low-temperature pyrolysis of biomass and a combustion device for its combustion in a pulsating fluidized bed of olivine sand were carried out. Techniques have been developed for studying the processes of low-temperature pyrolysis (annealing) of biomass and its combustion in a pulsating layer of olivine sand. The experimental samples of the reactor for low-temperature pyrolysis (annealing) of biomass and a combustion device for burning biomass in the pulsating boiling layer of olivine sand were commissioned.

3. The process of low-temperature pyrolysis (annealing) of purchased pellets made from three types of biomass (straw, sunflower husk, litter-litter of poultry farms) was studied with the determination of: loss of the raw material mass as a result of heat treatment, depending on its temperature and the duration of the content change in granules of hydrogen, oxygen, carbon, nitrogen, humidity, ash content, calorific value. Investigations of the change in the fractional composition of the fluidized bed during the combustion of purchased pellets made from three types of biomass (straw, sunflower husk, litter-litter mass of poultry farms).

4. Investigations of emissions of sulfur oxides, nitrogen, carbon monoxide during the combustion of purchased pellets made from three types of biomass (straw, sunflower husk, litter-litter poultry farms). The verification of the developed technologies for low-temperature pyrolysis (annealing) of biomass and combustion of biofuel in a pulsating fluidized bed was carried out. Tests of developed and manufactured experimental reactor samples for low-temperature pyrolysis of biomass and a combustion device for burning biomass in a pulsating layer of olivine sand were tested.
